| LOVE IS THE MEANING Only by the Grace of God I have a roof over my head And a pillow to lay it upon; Clothes on my back, food on my plate Only by the Grace of God. And having food and raiment Let us be there with content. For in heaven I know There’ll be no more pain, no sorrow. But, while I’m still here on this earth, Lord if thou wilt Let me hope and pray For the homeless and the hungry people. That you’ll keep them safe and warm In your loving Grace. For peace and glory surround you; And LOVE is the meaning of your name. For GOD is LOVE. |
